We don't believe in believing the voice of one whacko journalist who claims he knows which are the top 20 beaches in the world based on purely and solely his opinion and those of his friends.
Also, the fact that we have searched for the Beach pictures from places and countries like Konkan and Laos (places some of our visitors haven't even heard of) as well as the fact that we have selected Beaches from over 100 countries in all continents makes this whole voting contest very interesting and fun.
We have invented the very first Online Reality Show for the World's Best Beach which has a transparent and fair voting system (for a change). The number of votes cast will be updated LIVE. We do realise that this voting contest might start with just a few dozen votes per day (or even lesser) but we know that this content will become popular through people like you spreading the word about these Beach pictures on blogs, forums, websites, social networking sites, etc.

Best Beach Pictures Contest - What Happens Next?
Saviodsilva will count all votes at the end of each month and tally the percentages each Beach picture has got. We will then serve you with some more Beach pictures to vote for next month. When all the votes have been counted at the end of the first phase of World's Best Beach Elections there will be just 50 Beaches left standing.
In the second phase of polling we will get down the list to 20 most voted Beach pictures of 2009. Then the last phase of polling begins on November 1st. The 20 Most voted Beach pictures will be brought down to just single Beach which will win the coveted title of World's Best Beach. The pictures of the 20 Best Beaches in the world will be flashed on over 40 popular websites and newspapers around the world.
For the first time in the history of the internet we have a fair, just or impartial election of the World's Best Beach. We hope you will be part of this election on a regular basis and voice your vote by selecting the top Beach pictures to go into the second phase of polling.
